In the summer of 2013 Rebel Walls contacted me about doing a wallpaper collection for them as a part of their new Designer’s forum section, where they work together with artists worldwide. The thought was to let the designers behind the wallpapers to be known more personally and let them get creative without restrictions.
I had just taken my bachelor and graduated from HDK, my degree work was very colorful and patterned. I felt that I wanted to make something different, a little calmer and closer to my unedited drawings in greyscale. So I looked through my drawings and found a couple of them that I liked and redraw some of them bigger and more detailed. And that’s how this collection came about.
